I really have to work on the commission painting too, its very far behind and I am sure the lady who wants it is getting anxious for it to be done! Will try to get the out and get the floors. It is so nice to be able to taste my coffee again! Its the little things right?!! The colour play looks amazing for this month so I might even try to get a page done today. Not sure if I will be doing the hike this week, its a tough one and I don't know if I will be ready for that yet? Looking forward to some sunny days for this week at least the weather was pretty wet and rainy while I was sick, so I couldn't have done much in the way of gardening anyway. Now I have to slowly work on getting my strength back and getting on with life. I was not in a very good mood, so I just kind of kept to myself, poor DH I think he was getting tired of taking care of me. I did manage to get the done and DH vacuumed downstairs for me. Well I can finally say that I am Covid Free!!! It only took 8 days!!! Yuck!! Yesterday when I still tested positive, it really bummed me out! I crawled back into bed and had yet another nap. I am all knotted up from leaning over the puzzle, I need some yoga to loosen me up Isn't that the truth? I am so glad I am past that stage LOL I am all knotted up from leaning over the puzzle, I need some yoga to loosen me How did you do with sorting through the craft supplies? I bet your DDs and GDDs will be thrilled to take some of that off of your hands. I have to remind myself to *be patient* and not mess around with it. The mint leaves look and smell completely different. I want to give it a few more days because the apple mint traveled underneath the entire 3'x3' bed and is poking out of the soil near the phlox. Well, the phlox looks like it is alive!! I saw some green shoots coming up a few inches away from the dry stalk. They all laugh at me because I hang on to plants well past their "dead" stage - just in case. The woody stem was bare and only had a bit of "bend" to it. You'll appreciate this- the other day I was out checking my flowers and was saying to Scott that I thought the phlox didn't make it. Sorry to hear that your plans fell through.Īt least you didn't have to rush out of the house very early :/ I don't have much of a say (really- any say *G*) in Cait's decision but at this point I like to pretend I do Uh-oh! Airport shenanigans are not fun CiCi-Shenanigans. I already have an "acceptable distance" range in my head for Caitlyn and Tom so I understand why you wouldn't go outside of that range too. Hope that you had better luck scrapping your vacation Great news about Gainsville and the new house. Hope yours is more exciting, but only in good waysĬlick to expand.Isn't that the truth? I am so glad I am past that stage LOL That's all of the excitement in the Faery Household today. He had a bad day yesterday, spent most of it on the sofa and napped. The annual furnace cleaning service is set for today and I don't know if Gary will want to walk today after that. Heh, the plastic on the window in my office area is already falling down, won't be hard to yank the rest of it. I think that what I will do instead is take the plastic off of the windows that are covered and wipe them down. Today is "Clean Your Favorite Window." I don't have a favorite window and I recently cleaned my picture window. Vacuumed right after because there was lots of dust. The first day was to "clean up high." Grabbed my cleaning wand, some rags, and the ladder and got to work. I started a 10-Day Spring Clean Challenge yesterday. It was too cold and soggy to do anything outdoors. How was your weekend? Besides going too quickly? I did a bunch of housework until 3 pm and then I worked on the puzzle until dinner. This aging/time-speeding-up thingy is for the birds. How did the week go past and I barely noticed it?
